For added enjoyment and to suit the family’s needs, gaming consoles were integrated into the front of the room, housed in a special two-tier stage on which the screen sits.

This stage means the screen is at the perfect viewing angle and height and provides handy climate-controlled storage for equipment.

D-BOX technology was also added to the seats on the front row with some bass shakers available on the second row. This technology allows the seats to react and move in synchronisation with what is occurring on the screen, adding even higher levels of enjoyment and immersive action when required.

All the features in the cinema can be directly controlled and enjoy automated activation due to the Savant Pro home Definition (UHD) resolution projector was employed, one of the most powerful and accurate projectors available to the residential market.To achieve the ideal horizontal viewing angles and get the biggest screen possible, we opted for a 2.40:1 ratio screen with side masking allowing the customer to enjoy the biggest possible visual impact. automation and control system included in the cinema; as well as throughout the rest of the property.

Using the quality equipment selected for the main performance demands of the cinema meant that once the main set up had been completed, our engineers and other project partners from suppliers such as Trinnov, could fine tune and calibrate the whole system creating an even higher performance. In this instance, the Trinnov Altitude processor and Meridian Audio speakers working together provided our team with a total of 32 high-performance audio channels that allowed us to fine tune the system and meet exactly the needs of the room and the customer.

Ensuring the customer has the very best performance is of course only half the story, the cinema must look and feel right, offering a luxurious experience, even before the AV equipment springs to life.

To achieve this, the construction needed to be of the highest quality with a meticulous attention to detail using the CAD design skills of our in-house fabrication team, before setting out on executing the installation stage.

Each section going into constructing the space was CNC cut, including the stage, projector ceiling, bespoke Starscape ceiling, wall panels and supporting structures. We also worked closely with the cinema seating company to create the bespoke design for this section, so it perfectly complemented the curve of the tier and steps.

Design features in the room include a bespoke projector housing that is climate controlled to support high-performance.

The attractive curved projector housing features custom-made brass eyelets for the lens outlet, using the same brass finish as the customised seating cup holders offering a joined-up design, part of the aesthetic language created for the space.

Each wall panel was also designed with a specific curved aesthetic in mind and was mirrored in other parts of the room including the fibre-optic ceiling which was finished in Alcantara to match the walls.

The fibre-optic Starscape ceiling also has a seriously-cool random ‘shooting star’ effect for added drama. Ultimately, everything in the room was designed to blend seamlessly, creating a cohesive look, feel and performance.
